Ready Class

READY Class provides students with training to help them prevent and be better prepared for emergency situations that may happen in their home, school, or community. It provides middle and high school youth with the basic skills to handle their own needs and then to respond to the needs of others. It also includes education to develop resiliency, leadership, and connections to emergency response organizations. On completion of READY Class, students are recognized as members of their school or youth organization�s READY Club or Student Emergency Response Team. Ready classes are a modification of the summer camp experience. 3-day classes are offered for middle school and 2-day classes for high school students. It is offered in an interactive format that includes activities such as mock disaster scenarios!
